The promised and long-awaited musical comeback, returning to compositional and generative practices, did not dissipate into thin air (as previous declarations might have suggested) and became a reality. I initiated my sonic transmigration by organizing my private magnetic archive (reels and cassettes) and spending several days listening to what had survived in the collections. I also reached numerous digital music recordings created while working with the first computers, ZX Spectrum 128k and PC Pentium, acquired in 1995. The most interesting were the mutations resulting from two environments in which I oscillated at that time. The analog, taking up 1/3 of my room in a residential block, and the digital, using widely available software like Music Maker and Acid. The sonic discoveries of the latter captured my attention. Initially, I selected 4 to 5 recordings, which I passed through gates and noise correctors from online software. Later, additional recordings were added, and together with Piotr Krompiewski, we meticulously refined each one.</span></div><div><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div><table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: none;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeeURsB7CHp7C8nNL6aFjkPCY5sn5T2UQLQGN-CeyT8sf-591phn7K0lACmS3vSHA8KV9CAWKN94IlFHoDOz5Q1GlGgdx5COXyzHQlaqFfEOJDi-G8wYItXoyUOs3HFqWndRwcDueIWILAUpNxcYClmkIrpEeUObXiQfvJNbQSb7TEIVkq8iXDe8qbRY-r/s1000/Udo%20Volfram%20fot.%20Natalia%20Wierzbicka.png" style="clear: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1000" data-original-width="1000" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeeURsB7CHp7C8nNL6aFjkPCY5sn5T2UQLQGN-CeyT8sf-591phn7K0lACmS3vSHA8KV9CAWKN94IlFHoDOz5Q1GlGgdx5COXyzHQlaqFfEOJDi-G8wYItXoyUOs3HFqWndRwcDueIWILAUpNxcYClmkIrpEeUObXiQfvJNbQSb7TEIVkq8iXDe8qbRY-r/w640-h640/Udo%20Volfram%20fot.%20Natalia%20Wierzbicka.png" width="640" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: arial;">Udo Volfram photo by Natalia Wierzbicka</span></td></tr></tbody></table><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: arial;">Today's tools allow for almost anything with minimal effort. From cleaning recordings from tapes to boosts and normalization of the overall sound. The resurrected sequences of recordings entwined my post-Cold War sensitivity. After all, it was sketch material, a kind of starting construct (bass-drum), prepared for further modifications and musical embellishments. However, in my assessment, these tracks already carried certain values and emotions. The atmosphere of numerous sleepless nights spent processing material, sampling my own samples, sounds, settings, building the character of the piece – all of that was present. After adding vocals or orchestral embellishments, the final step was to place it in the album. Unfortunately, my brother's death in 1999 paralyzed my broadcasting-receiving impulses. Therefore, in a creative melancholy, I escaped into a safer visual dialogue. Listening to all of this years later and restoring those recordings is a rather important process for me. Despite efforts to enrich them with additional meaningful sounds or vocals, I couldn't find a place for them, leaving them as they sounded in 1999. Therefore, I present this collection of aesthetics without unnecessary additives, molded from my youthful fascination with the physics of music and the "spine-chilling" charge of the battery, along with the soothing release of their potential. These two extreme worlds always tug at me. Motoric and ethereal or dirty and dapper, are just a few coeval dualisms close to my observations.</span></div><div><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwHD5iRqRzE3AKPvJ1TY3UsBs7hdOvKWuqXsKMOrYe25C2JOkU5PM4C4Igp-55nX56scySy1SuJsA8v6hCiK8Jog15i3trMfCBm74XMVHjJTnMulkw4PeIMhlfXBaFpj4fZQ5PSegNpB57O-k0fO9LhdfNB4cF8VY35TgBLfVHGI9rHJVXnyaFU_603cbq/s851/UV%20Formant%20Album%20Flyer%20851.png" style="clear: left; float: none; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="452" data-original-width="851" height="340" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwHD5iRqRzE3AKPvJ1TY3UsBs7hdOvKWuqXsKMOrYe25C2JOkU5PM4C4Igp-55nX56scySy1SuJsA8v6hCiK8Jog15i3trMfCBm74XMVHjJTnMulkw4PeIMhlfXBaFpj4fZQ5PSegNpB57O-k0fO9LhdfNB4cF8VY35TgBLfVHGI9rHJVXnyaFU_603cbq/w640-h340/UV%20Formant%20Album%20Flyer%20851.png" width="640" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-family: arial;"><div>This is how the album F O R M A N T - a compilation of 9 recordings established in the years 1997-1999, and arranged in achronological order, was born. I present the material for listening without the use of modern engineering or the commonly applied supersonic surgery today. Only the mentioned noise detection and necessary normalization (due to the quite diverse levels of recordings) have been applied here. As a musical addition, I include the cover project featuring the image of a Welder, referring to the Ant Man. This is a reference to my years of labor in two metallurgical factories in Lublin, Ursus, and Sipma. In both of these plants, I was merely a worker ant in a peculiar world of machines and the sounds flowing from them. They shaped me and my musical fascinations while fulfilling the factory plan, implemented just moments before the fall of communism in Poland.</div><div><br /></div><div>Udo Volfram, 2024</div><div><br /></div></span></div><iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="363" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/xa3Uxk1RjIM?si=Zk_6L_VNAQvpPnxE" title="YouTube video player" width="640"></iframe><div><br /></div><div><span style="font-family: arial;">1999 Udo Volfram<br />2024 Rebeat Digital GmbH<br />2024 KROMP ROOM RECORDS</span></div><div><br /></div>Kromproomhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15227962973692929544noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2135890044969294381.post-37982470038276701192024-01-17T15:11:00.002+01:002024-01-17T20:42:15.971+01:00Udo Volfram Joins KROMP ROOM RECORDS: A Fusion of Artistic Worlds and Musical Innovation<p> <span style="font-family: arial;"><b>In 2024, KROMP ROOM RECORDS, a music label specializing in various styles of electronic music, is proud to announce the full-scale arrival of a new artist named Udo Volfram. A graduate of the Institute of Fine Arts at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, Kuśmirowski also studied at the University of Rennes 2 and Beaux-Arts Rennes in France. He gained fame during his studies, making his debut in 2002 with a solo exhibition at the Biała Gallery in Lublin, where he reconstructed a railway station with a train car on a siding. His works are characterized by grandeur, innovation, and historical context. He often incorporates a musical theme, as seen in the realization of the UHER.C music studio from the 1960s, where, in addition to dummy and quasi-playing modules, devices from the era of technological development in Western countries were also featured.</span><p></p><div><table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: none;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-Xqks0jpuBdAqX3E927HawANr5YTmy6Vr1t5ndjxi5IPuOpKb_ym_qpagXwRkEnmichxIp36kL_GBtYmva6t5w2H3FDL6JmwcKZaTHCXOQv2Dt7_hCCQlSB3j4rOb5rxx6GVzEbDu8MFt9lzyqz-pEsxiQALtXuOrpn31eRrCsiQAeAMgx8aEQWy_4RS-/s1200/C-uher-4a.jpg" style="clear: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="401" data-original-width="1200" height="214" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-Xqks0jpuBdAqX3E927HawANr5YTmy6Vr1t5ndjxi5IPuOpKb_ym_qpagXwRkEnmichxIp36kL_GBtYmva6t5w2H3FDL6JmwcKZaTHCXOQv2Dt7_hCCQlSB3j4rOb5rxx6GVzEbDu8MFt9lzyqz-pEsxiQALtXuOrpn31eRrCsiQAeAMgx8aEQWy_4RS-/w640-h214/C-uher-4a.jpg" width="640" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: arial;">UHER.C Guido Costa Project 2008</span></td></tr></tbody></table><br /><span style="font-family: arial;"><div>The latest chapter in Robert Kuśmirowski's career is his arrival at KROMP ROOM RECORDS in 2021 under the pseudonym Udo Volfram. The artist joins the label with a remix for the band Agressiva 69 on the track "Dlaczego nie ty?". This move represents a fascinating intersection of the worlds of contemporary art and electronic music. In 2021, Udo Volfram transforms the song by adding a unique electronic dimension that complements the original sound of Agressiva 69. This synergy of talents promises intriguing and innovative experiences for fans of both artists. Kuśmirowski had previously made a name for himself as a composer of music. In 1989, he co-founded the Lublin-based band "Radio OXO". Since 1991, he has been part of the duo "Undegun" and in 1992, he ultimately joined the death metal formation "Sannyasin". Currently, in addition to musical and publishing projects, or collaborating in the duo "F 60" with Eryk Paluch, he also inaugurates his own series of meetings on concrete music, "AUDIOmatic," at CSK Lublin.</div><div><br /></div></span></div><iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="363" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/AzYGAIoOGN4?si=D4SIgNQ8PCAyZHXb" title="YouTube video player" width="640"></iframe><div><br /></div><div><div><span style="font-family: arial;">The art of Robert Kuśmirowski and the music of Udo Volfram represent two alternating artistic worlds created by a single individual. The surprising combination of Robert Kuśmirowski's art with Udo Volfram's music seems to create an innovative space where different artistic disciplines come together. It also affirms that the boundaries between various art forms are becoming increasingly fluid, providing creators with the opportunity to explore and draw inspiration in new ways. An example of this is the album produced by UHER.C in 2008, in collaboration with the Judica Cordiglia Brothers from Turin, pioneers in recording sounds from outer space during the Cold War era.</span></div></div><div><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div><table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: none;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCp_O8jps6tDcGsdE9Y49fIcEFeDbzvrV3Y-Hs36-beFCYxTETy5IVz1Yd9EL4l8K-GqcBrD1cnYOLDI_GCzIWEwMHnDkhtbCaWWsXdp1dvEWI-lFZL4Evz63Mg1fRx2_RNszFFD1YZQcBagUHWZB2MiV20GBGl8MzQeR16TOXL43b-FEe7y16lfgmi-jD/s1265/UHER%20Album%201256.jpg" style="clear: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1265" data-original-width="1256" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCp_O8jps6tDcGsdE9Y49fIcEFeDbzvrV3Y-Hs36-beFCYxTETy5IVz1Yd9EL4l8K-GqcBrD1cnYOLDI_GCzIWEwMHnDkhtbCaWWsXdp1dvEWI-lFZL4Evz63Mg1fRx2_RNszFFD1YZQcBagUHWZB2MiV20GBGl8MzQeR16TOXL43b-FEe7y16lfgmi-jD/w636-h640/UHER%20Album%201256.jpg" width="636" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: arial;">"UHER.C" album - 2008</span></td></tr></tbody></table><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><iframe seamless="" src="https://bandcamp.com/EmbeddedPlayer/album=1339866627/size=large/bgcol=333333/linkcol=0f91ff/tracklist=false/artwork=small/transparent=true/" style="border: 0; height: 120px; width: 100%;"><a href="https://udovolfram.bandcamp.com/album/uher-c">UHER.C by Udo Volfram</a></iframe><div><br /></div><div><div><span style="font-family: arial;">The artist's latest musical endeavor was a performative action at the "Center for Documentation of the Art of Tadeusz Kantor CRICOTEKA" in Krakow, where, in addition to a spectacular art exhibition, experimental recordings were created with other artists. Set in a atmospheric basement setting, the video stands out not only for its sounds but also for its unique visual presentation. The energetic rhythm of "Tatuaż" intertwines with the imagery of a cellist in a red dress, seated in a dimly lit environment. Her performance adds a profound depth to the video, transporting the viewer into a surreal world of sound and imagery.<br /></span></p><iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="363" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/16PV1jt0DWQ?si=bsICIXyanv89qkd9" title="YouTube video player" width="640"></iframe><div><br /></div><div><div><span style="font-family: arial;">The red dress serves as a contrast to the surrounding darkness, symbolizing the strength and passion embedded within the song itself. Peter is a person of faith, seated in a different way in reality, which is why he believes that love, empathy, helping your fellow man and understanding are beautiful values. More than once in his life, he found himself in a place where not a single bit of love was felt. In such spaces, anxiety, fear, and insecurity are born, the level of values is lowered, and the person begins to suffocate in hopelessness. The last place he found himself was so dark that he realised how far he was from God. So he decided, among other things, to produce music into which he tried to transfer positive emotions. As well as coming into contact with well-wishers, he treated the work on the single as a therapy.</span></p><p></p><table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: none;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjAc4LM-YJ4tnLSSGNAMnSRrmk9oDvDlviWXm2LoXN4P8euy82WxdTzj56ulQHwxsFV4a4uDV1qi-izL47nbtWTiuEL6P_MWolfhneA0HWx6s5zvT7nJUOtVzh3R5_-yoRoQnmZ-Jv8exaIW2hrnZyfFp94gBxoy-9yWMupSL2BfaRolLPXPv4_D2qzpg/s1904/Kromproom%203.jpg" style="clear: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: left;"><img alt="A smiling Piotr Krompiewski, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, against a white wall." border="0" data-original-height="1396" data-original-width="1904" height="470" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjAc4LM-YJ4tnLSSGNAMnSRrmk9oDvDlviWXm2LoXN4P8euy82WxdTzj56ulQHwxsFV4a4uDV1qi-izL47nbtWTiuEL6P_MWolfhneA0HWx6s5zvT7nJUOtVzh3R5_-yoRoQnmZ-Jv8exaIW2hrnZyfFp94gBxoy-9yWMupSL2BfaRolLPXPv4_D2qzpg/w640-h470/Kromproom%203.jpg" title="Piotr "Kromproom" Krompiewski" width="640" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: arial;">Piotr "Kromproom" Krompiewski</span></td></tr></tbody></table><p></p><p><span style="font-family: arial;">The radio station version of the song was dressed up with visuals. Kromproom is a fan of the demoscene, so the music, together with the visuals, looks like a demo (audiovisual work). On 3 August, the audio visualisation has been premiered on the artist's official YouTube channel. When Kromproom composed Following the Sun he wanted the music to tell a story. The rhythm section was programmed as if a human being was playing the electronic drums, and the synthesisers melodically complement the whole. When we first listened to the final version, it reminded us of a mixture of the Polish spirit of electronic music mixed with elements of Western electronica. A few days ago, Piotr Krompiewski was a special guest on a radio programme entitled Industrialooza, hosted by Tomasz Grochola and Tomasz Tumidajewicz. During the conversation, Tomek Grochola said that the song Following the Sun is synthy reminiscent of the German group Tangerine Dream or Klaus Schulze, and of Polish performers Komendarek, Łosowki, Biliński. It's an interesting observation, and we'll add from ourselves that all of this has been poured over a clubby break-beat rhythm section. The electronically ambient breakbeat invites you to follow the Sun.</span></p><iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="363" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/iCVTSF1NDRs" title="YouTube video player" width="640"></iframe><p><span style="font-family: arial;">The additional bonus composition is an over nine-minute dance track that, in our opinion, is perfectly inviting on the dance floor. A few of our friends who made it to the end listening to this track, even before the release, expressed that the music sounds like a modernised 90s. With one review comparing the music to the achievements of a band like Leftfield. This is very nice, as we know that Kromproom likes Leftfield and we are keeping our fingers crossed for their latest album, which will be released on 2 December 2022. Under the pseudonym, Kromproom (also as Kromp Room) hides Polish producer Piotr Krompiewski. He took his first steps in creating music in the early 1990s, working on Commodore 64 and Commodore Amiga computers. Between 1996 and 1998, he was a member of the Virtual Madness group, active in the so-called demoscene, created by pioneers in the use of computers to realise audiovisual projects called demos.</span></p><iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="363" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/lkhDR91TH9M" title="YouTube video player" width="640"></iframe><p><span style="font-family: arial;">Kromproom's most recent release is the album entitled Tenacity, which was published in 2015. Since that year, Kromproom has dispersed his musical energy towards other artists, collaborating with Polish industrial rock legend Agressiva 69 or cold-wave band Bitzkrieg, among others. Together with the vocalist of Agressiva 69, Kromproom formed the duo Kings in White. Together, the men have produced a number of remixes for artists such as Agressiva 69 and Blitzkrieg, as well as for German bands Blueforge, Blind Passenger and Outsized.</span></p><iframe allow="autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="380" src="https://open.spotify.com/embed/album/2kz44zfwuFEDE3S5we1ksI?utm_source=generator" style="border-radius: 12px;" width="100%"></iframe><p><span style="font-family: arial;">A life situation and a series of other experiences led to Kromproom deciding to return to its original project. The artist announced that he had produced enough music that appealed to listeners with a taste for a darker style. From this period comes, for example, the soundtrack entitled Darkness, which Piotr Krompiewski produced together with German music producer Jens Esch Centurio. This album is the soundtrack to a science fiction novel, more precisely a fantasy political thriller entitled Revolution, Baby!, written by German writer Daniel Bosch, also known under the pseudonyms Dan Davis and David Simon. Kromproom was invited to this project by the author of the book himself, as well as by Carlos Peron, co-founder of the legendary band Yello.</span></p><iframe allow="autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="380" src="https://open.spotify.com/embed/album/3oh8nCailhQGO6qwLuA3aH?utm_source=generator" style="border-radius: 12px;" width="100%"></iframe><p><span style="font-family: arial;">The latest single, entitled Following The Sun, is dedicated to people who want but are afraid to change their lives for the better. The single features the latest track in two versions and a bonus track of over nine minutes entitled In Real Time. Kromproom has prepared rhythmic, ambient and organic electronica for listeners, into which this time he has poured positive emotions, which interact with the music to annihilate sadness and fear. The bonus track is a danceably intelligent journey. Music, like prayer, should give a person strength.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDYJiBkJ6_uvtS1I0vSbW0Y-0gPnsGyBw7HvjNb2g4m3W3R2hpzee525h3c7FTu-5dl2eDFEYM5RKoICCjVRxxGmqN1ktUmu4eyu2zgWU9gvzSegWa_czXNf5Z8Fsk-45Od8msT53NTwOhxXBuVJ2poQRZE71m4mh5jFLwpOLPyHUBOqGPWiy16M4RVQ/s820/FB%20Cover%203%20coming%20soon.jpg" style="clear: left; font-family: "Times New Roman"; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="The sun shining beautifully over a carpet of clouds. He also paid more attention to the development of the KROMP ROOM RECORDS label. The changes that have come have led him to take stock of his own work emotionally. <a href="https://kromproom.blogspot.com/2020/12/incorporate-utwor-otwierajacy-specjalna.html" target="_blank">As he wrote in this article</a>, music was and is therapy for him. When he listened to his own work a few days ago, he felt sadness, confusion, fear in the music, and that's why he reached the audience of the "dark" music world with his electronics. Albums like Black Import (Kromproom), Abgrund (EKS-port), Darkness (Centurio and Kromproom) are the best examples of that and of course artistically he is not ashamed of those productions.</span></p><p><iframe allow="autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="80" src="https://open.spotify.com/embed/album/1B44d842SszAgzQqQlnrnr?utm_source=generator" style="border-radius: 12px;" width="100%"></iframe></p><p><span style="font-family: arial;">Emotionally the exception is his second album called Tenacity, where Kromproom wanted to prove to himself that he is strong and resilient. This album is dynamic, full of energy, but in retrospect he noticed that it was recorded at a time when naivety was growing in him. Kromproom thought he was strong and resilient but it was an illusion.</span></p><iframe allow="autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="80" src="https://open.spotify.com/embed/album/3oh8nCailhQGO6qwLuA3aH?utm_source=generator" style="border-radius: 12px;" width="100%"></iframe><p><span style="font-family: arial;">He decided to change that and the latest release Kromproom will be aimed at people who want to, but don't yet have enough strength to change their lives for the better. He believes that the latest Kromproom will turn people's heads towards the light and not towards the sewers, which is where it is usually dark. He has come to understand that black is in fashion, but that light, which is among other things a symbol of goodness, is far more mysterious. We often hear that people learns throughout their life, this is true, but let us not learn from the evil one. He will always come to us with flowers and under the guise of something good will lead us astray.</span></p>Kromproomhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15227962973692929544noreply@blogger.com0Europa54.5259614 15.255118726.215727563821154 -19.9011313 82.836195236178838 50.4113687tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2135890044969294381.post-79887754658720813282022-02-16T11:17:00.012+01:002022-04-14T08:56:30.021+02:00Official Video of Agressiva 69 Dlaczego nie ty? At the beginning of December, the Polish legend of industrial rock officially released digitally and on CD its latest track along with remixes. The release can easily be called a remix album because there are nine tracks on it in total.</span></b></h3><table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: left;"><tbody><tr><td><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-MXk4WJCO0zg/YbWwx-o6S7I/AAAAAAAADWA/iPMSgcMAiYoPUNDUDlsHcLIro8qB8srpgCNcBGAsYHQ/s1024/a_69_dlaczego_nie_ty_cover%2B1024.jpg" style="clear: none; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img alt="Metal hammer handle with engraved Agressiva 69 band logo" border="0" data-original-height="1024" data-original-width="1024" height="640" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-MXk4WJCO0zg/YbWwx-o6S7I/AAAAAAAADWA/iPMSgcMAiYoPUNDUDlsHcLIro8qB8srpgCNcBGAsYHQ/w640-h640/a_69_dlaczego_nie_ty_cover%2B1024.jpg" title="Cover of the Agressiva 69's single Dalczego nie ty?" width="640" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption"><span style="font-family: arial;">Cover Art by Michał Kuraś. Photo by Robert Kuśmirowski.</span></td></tr></tbody></table><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><b></b></div><div><br /><span style="font-family: arial;">In this article, we would like to focus on the original composition and graphic design of the release, which is the work of Michał Kuraś. The Exit studio, headed by Piotr Witkowski, is responsible for the track's production, mixing and mastering. The latest production is on the one hand a return to the roots and strong playing of Agressiva 69, on the other hand, you can hear the modernity in this production. Agressiva 69 asks us questions: Why not me? Why not you? Why not all of us? Depending on the context in which these questions are asked, each of us can tailor our own answer. The correct interpretation is where these questions play the role of parents. Parents often ask their children Why aren't you first? Why are you not the best? Such parental pressure generates unnecessary traumas in children's heads, which can accompany them later in their adult life.<br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><iframe allow="autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="380" src="https://open.spotify.com/embed/album/29NaOaO1IKDGVQJFsjGc6L?utm_source=generator" width="100%"></iframe><div><br /></div><span style="font-family: arial;">As for the music, we feel that this composition is a combination of two worlds, the electronic Underworld with the world of The Killing Joke. </span><span style="font-family: arial;">Mixing a small amount of lyrics with trancey industrial rock music together makes for a meaningful mix. Apart from the latest track, you can also listen to as many as eight remixes by artists such as Kuba Łuka of Blare For A, C.H. Kromproom's adventure with music began, among other things, by creating music with these programs. Move is a composition to which Kromproom is very sentimental, because he using his voice in this track, trying to sing, or rather melodeclaming.</span><div><br /></div><div><iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="363" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Cpcv0G76qaA" title="YouTube video player" width="640"></iframe><div><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: arial;">The music video for Move, or perhaps more like a visualisation, was created in 2010. Kromproom used a webcam, which he held in his hand and moved spontaneously to the rhythm of the music. The camera captured an interestingly moving image, under which Kromproom later put a remastered version of the Move track. We are inviting all fans of electronic music to watch, comment and share the video with your friends. Finally, we would like to inform you that Kromproom together with Tomek Grochola as a duo Kings in White is working on two official remixes for two German music projects called BlueForge and Blind Passenger. The band slowly turns to celebrate 30 years of existence jubilee. The band's history began in decisive times of the 80s and 90s. The founders of A69 are Tomek Grochola and Jacek Tokarczyk, later accompanied by Robert Tuta (i.a. Warthegau, 1984). The new drummer is Filip Mozul. Agressiva 69 represents the full of energy, rock or even rock’n’roll attitude towards industrial music. The attitude is similar to the one represented by KMFDM, Young Gods, Ministry or Revolting Cocks. Agressiva 69's actions intertwine with the pioneer times of the scene and show business in post-communist Poland. The band's changing fortunes can in no way be described constructively, however, it is worth to mention the role Agressiva has played for the popularization of industrial among communities who are far away from experimental music. Further history of A69 is highs and lows. Triumphant concerts, unusual activity, next projects and moments which the band has fortunately overcome. A69's work evolved into different directions. A group of friends has always presented themselves as a super band live. They were a cult band among Depeche Mode fans in Poland, although their musical style is very distant from the sounds made by the golden boys from Basildon. A69's orthodox fans value their breakthrough albums Deus Ex Machina (1993) and Hammered By The Gods (1994) the most. The repertoire of the first, memorable record is going to be the base of their concert in Wroclaw.<br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><iframe allow="autoplay; fullscreen" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="360" src="https://player.vimeo.com/video/476384369?title=0" width="640"></iframe>

Cover art by Tomasz Jerzy Tumidajewicz.</font></div><font face="arial"><br />On the 29th of April 2020, a compilation under the mysterious title Beatroom 01 has been released. This is the first compilation of KROMP ROOM RECORDS label, whose founder is Piotr Krompiewski. Together with Tomek Grochola, the founder of Agressiva 69 - the now cult Polish group playing industrial rock, they listened to and selected 8 songs from 21 releases, and completed them with 5 more, which were created especially for the needs of this compilation. The result of this collaboration is an amazing journey through various genres of electronic music from the raw industrial sounds of Misery track, through the trance Road to the atmospheric film music in the track Mroczne Spotkanie. It is a real musical roller coaster.</font></div><div><font face="arial"><br /></font></div><div><font face="arial">The compilation is opening with the track In Cold Blood by Blitzkrieg remixed by Piotr Krompiewski and Tomek Grochola aka Kings in White. The song was originally on the Holy War album in 1992. The cold, dark wave track after passing through the Kings in White mixers gained momentum. From the very beginning, a distinct breakbeat makes us rock in the armchairs and reflexively turn up the volume. Guitar riffs are adding a feisty claw to the song, and everything is complementing by the vocals of Peter Guellard, which blends in perfectly with the whole. Our roller coaster starts at full speed. Peter has liked the remix so much that he has been created a music video for this remix that is promoting the entire release.</font></div><div><br /></div>
<iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="363" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/8r9eA9HW2TQ" width="640"></iframe><div><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: arial;">After this ejection of adrenaline into the body, we are going to the next song - Agressiva 2069 (Beat mix) by the band Agressiva 69, which is taking us into darker, more industrial climates, we are entering a tunnel. You are listening to the spooky vocal of Tomek Grochola, so well known from the band's first albums, and the raw, industrial guitar riff. Beat mix version was specially prepared and remixed by Kings in White for Beatroom 01. The previous version of this remix (Agressiva 2069 Kings in White remix) is released on EP A2069 in 2019 along with the reissue on vinyl and CD of Agressiva 69’s first album - Deus Ex Machina, and that's where the original song is coming from.</span></div><div><font face="arial"><br /></font></div>
<iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="363" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/bHRpn6HUZyk" width="640"></iframe>
<div><br /></div><div><font face="arial">The third track is Kromproom - Cyborg (NASA’s spacewalkers), which is transporting us to outer space but is not the same space so-known as from Interstellar or Gravity films. It is taking us to a "retro-space" where Jean Michelle Jarre and Crystal Method would take us. The track is taken from the EP entitled Transmitter released in 2009. Kromproom is the solo project of Piotr Krompiewski, who had taken his first steps in music in the early 90s, using Commodore 64 and Commodore Amiga. He was also a member of the Virtual Madness group, operating on the so-called demoscene, which is an international computer art subculture focused on producing demos: self-contained, sometimes extremely small, computer programs that produce audio-visual presentations.</font></div><div><font face="arial"><br /></font></div> <iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="363" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/dqFKRjaT3yk" width="640"></iframe><div><br /></div><div><font face="arial">The fourth on the tracklist is EKS-port - Jsem (Kromproom mix). With this track, we are catching our breath, rocking in the clouds, sailing away. If you know The Orb - Little Fluffy Clouds, so you know what's going on. The EKS-port duo has founded by MC Else and Kromproom. Their production is a mix of various styles of the independent electronic music scene: hip-hop, rap, electronics, trance, breakbeat, with elements of ambient, vocals, and live sounds. The track is taken from their debut album entitled eks-peryment, but it had not published before in this version. It is a fresh breath and confirms our belief that this compilation is surprising with every track and changing like a kaleidoscope.</font></div><div><font face="arial"><br /></font></div><iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="363" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/sMY0-alF_dM" width="640"></iframe><div><br /></div><div><font face="arial">Centurio - Hunter (Kromproom mix) - number five on the playlist. The first 15 seconds are building tension and then pulling us down from the clouds. With a stronger beat, the tempo is increasing, we are beginning to move by the rhythm of the music. Clear breakbeat and aggressive samples, we are gathering momentum and we want to turn up the volume again. Breakbeat and aggressive samples are getting gather momentum and we want to turn up the volume again. Jens Esch Centurio is a German photographer, filmmaker, producer, writer, composer, and vocalist. He produces pop, rock, electronic music, and soundtracks for books and movies. The Hunter track is taken from the soundtrack for the book Revolution, Baby! by Daniel Bosch aka Dan Davis or David Simon. The Kromproom mix version has been created especially for this compilation.</font></div><div><font face="arial"><br /></font></div><iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="363" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/dWkeU-ctX4g" width="640"></iframe><div><br /></div><div><font face="arial">And we've reached the deepest and darkest abyss. Our roller coaster took us to the depths of industrial hell. Misery (Remastered) is ahead of us - one of the most disturbing and dark songs in the work of Agressiva 69. Tomek Grochola's demonic vocal pierces through us, the music is building tension to move into a crude industrial beat in the middle of the song. This was recorded by Tomek Grochola and Jacek Tokarczyk in the years 92-93 for the debut album of Agressiva 69 - Deus Ex Machina, which was re-released in 2019. A music video was made in China, which reflects the atmosphere of the song.</font></div><div><font face="arial"><br /></font></div><iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="363" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/H9eEwXgibqk" width="640"></iframe><div><br /></div><div><font face="arial">At the next track, we are returning to Daniel Bosch and EKS-port again. This time we are listening to a very atmospheric Dog song in the rhythmic ambient style. The track is taken from 2015’s Abgrund album, which is a soundtrack composed for the autobiography of Daniel Bosch. The title Dog is an extraterrestrial that resembles a hybrid of a dog and a dragon. Similarly, the song itself is a hybrid. Calm, with expressive female vocals, which is smoothly changing from declination to melodious singing. It is also very disturbing and intriguing. This song is nothing like Jsem (Kromproom mix), here we are not dancing in the clouds, here we are moving in a mystical fog.</font></div><div><font face="arial"><br /></font></div><iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="363" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/F5vodpQaBI8" width="640"></iframe><div><br /></div><div><font face="arial">We are remaining in the mystical fog, Centurio - Heat and Love are not allowing us to leave it. This incredibly atmospheric song, reminiscent of Bill Laswell's songs such as Hashish Poem or Above the Earth, taking us on a psychedelic, oriental journey to ancient Persia straight to the Nemrut mountain. A music video was made for the track, which is a photo collage of the image of the German alternative photo model Xarah von den Vielenregen. This hypnotic song was first released on the Freedom mini album in 2012.</font></div><div><font face="arial"><br /></font></div><iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="363" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/blB1YsTCsxo" width="640"></iframe><div><br /></div><div><font face="arial">Kromproom - Annihilating rhythm, the next song on this compilation, slowly is pulling us out of the magical land. It doesn't do it brutally, but it clearly indicates that our roller coaster is starting to accelerate. Rhythmic drums combining with cosmic samples introduce us to the world of breakbeat. As in the case of Cyborg (NASA’s spacewalkers), we are again heading towards the stars, but this time to the world of robots. This track has been released twice so far - in 2014 the EP Annihilating rhythm has been released, which includes two versions of this track, and on Kromproom's latest album Tenacity in 2015.</font></div><div><font face="arial"><br /></font></div><iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="363" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/FARQXuSICbY" width="640"></iframe><div><br /></div><div><font face="arial">Kromproom feat. Tomek Grochola aka Kings in White is giving the beat a faster tempo in the track Road. As they define it like the trance-rock-electronic style. There is a trance beat reminiscent of a moving train, the rock vocal of Tomek Grochola, and electronic samples of Piotr Krompiewski with a solo at the end of the track. Again, we are driving our roller coaster at full speed, again we are overcoming more loops and sharp turns. This is the duo's first single released in 2017, although the cooperation of both men dates back to 2015 when they had met for the first time at a club in Cracow.</font></div><div><font face="arial"><br /></font></div><iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="363" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/zl8OIhTF9W0" width="640"></iframe><div><br /></div><div><font face="arial">We are going to Centurio beatz Kromproom - Weite Reise (Trance funk mix) without slowing down. Trance rhythms, pulsating samples, African djembe. Much is happening in this track, but it doesn't overwhelm, it is even staying and looping in your head in for a long time. CbK is a collaboration between Jens Eschem Centurio and Piotr Kromproom Krompiewski. The project was created in 2011 and only one EP was released in 2012 by the Dark Daze Music label owned by Carlos Perón. The Trance funk mix version has been specially prepared for Beatroom 01.</font></div><div><font face="arial"><br /></font></div><iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="363" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/sBYDLcUWu6Y" width="640"></iframe><div><br /></div><div><font face="arial">At the end of our journey, we are getting a real surprise - Carlos Perón and his track entitled Mroczne Spotkanie. Carlos Perón is a legend of electronic music and a co-founder of the band Yello. Carlos's cooperation and acquaintance with Piotr Krompiewski have resulted in Carlos's involvement in this project and presenting as a special guest. Carlos has shared one of his unpublished track that is on this compilation under the Polish title. The track is completely different from the rest. It sounds like film music, but you can hear electronic samples mixing with orchestral sounds. It brings to mind the best scenes from movies like the Matrix. This composition is slowly breaking and bringing us to the final of our roller coaster ride called Beatroom 01.</font></div><div><font face="arial"><br /></font></div><iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="363" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/RrX3iLdsYz0" width="640"></iframe><div><br /></div><div><font face="arial">The album is closing with Blitzkrieg - In Cold Blood - Kings in White remix - Video Edit. This is a more than four-minute version of the song that has been used in the music video promoting this compilation. To sum up the whole: it is an extraordinary ride that is surprising us with every track, brings to mind many associations and comparisons, and most importantly it is diverse. It doesn't get boring after the first listen. With each listening session, we are beginning to notice more flavours and increasingly appreciate the work that Krompiewski and Grochola have put into it. This is a roller coaster, where after finishing the ride you are screaming: I WANT AGAIN!</font></div><div><font face="arial"><br /></font></div><iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="363" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/P59GggiBdqE" width="640"></iframe><div><br /></div><div><font face="arial"><b>Review by Przemysław (Murin) Murzyn</b></font></div><div><br /></div><iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="1" height="600px" marginheight="0px" marginwidth="0px" name="myiFrame" scrolling="no" src="https://www.artistcamp.com/SmartLinks/9008798330737/" style="border: 0px #ffffff none;" width="800px"></iframe><div><span style="font-family: arial;">Music distribution by Rebeat Digital GmbH</span></div><div><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div>Kromproomhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15227962973692929544noreply@blogger.com0Europa54.5259614 15.255118726.215727563821154 -19.9011313 82.836195236178838 50.4113687tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2135890044969294381.post-77761506158263316212020-04-27T19:11:00.002+02:002021-01-14T19:47:13.570+01:00THE VIDEO BLITZKRIEG & KINGS IN WHITE BY PETER GUELLARD AND CONTRIBUTORS<div><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><span style="font-family: arial;"><b>On the 22 of April at 20:00 on our official YouTube channel took place the premiere of the video entitled Blitzkrieg - In Cold Blood - Kings in White remix. The idea came </span><span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif">when the final version of the remix was heard by Peter Guellard, who lives permanently in the city of Pittsburgh in the USA. At the same time, Peter received permission to use the amazing shots of the city of Łódź, shot from a drone by Jarosław Miszczak, who recorded it two days after the announcement of the state of the epidemic in Poland.</span></span></div>
<br />
<iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="363" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/HTgckuGXez8" width="640"></iframe><br />
<br />
<span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif" style="font-family: arial;">In addition next to the beautiful shots from dron, Peter needed additional footages, so he and one of his friends Robbie Venus went to Pittsburgh streets and the abandoned industrial district, where they shot great shots by themself. In addition, Charmaine Freemonk is adding to the clip her image, as well as Tomek Grochola, Piotr Krompiewski, and Tomek Mechu Wojciechowski, additionally, Grzegorz Niewiadomski is the supervisor of photography. When the video was almost ready, the trailer has been published on the 6 of April 2020.</span><br />

<br />
<span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif" style="font-family: arial;">In our opinion, the effect is staggering, incredibly photogenic Łódź and shots from the city of Pittsburgh are showing a realistic pandemic climate on both sides of the ocean. Everyone deserves special attention. Peter Guellard, who singing moves to the rhythm of the music along with Robbie Venus who is playing on the synthesizer called Virus, Charmaine Freemonk is playing with fire and juggling the light, Tomek Grochola and Piotr Krompiewski are inside an old black and white television, and Tomek Mechu Wojciechowski is playing in the personality of a madman playing on guitar. The end is very surprising, the last shot shows Tomek Grochola's son Borys, who is sitting against the background of a window with open blinds, laughs spontaneously, bringing everyone hopes for a better tomorrow.</span><br />

<span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif" style="font-family: arial;">Blitzkrieg is a Polish cold-wave band founded in Łódź in 1986 by Piotr "Dyda" Czyszanowski (vocal, bass guitar), Tomasz Wojciechowski (guitar) and Tomasz Bryczek (drums). They recorded one album titled Holy War in 1991. In 2019, the band has returned on stage. In the same year, the album <a href="https://www.sonicrecords.pl/catalogs/view/holy-war" rel="" target="_blank">Holy War</a> has re-released, and next to this reissue the issuance entitled <a href="https://www.sonicrecords.pl/catalogs/view/good-times" rel="" target="_blank">Good Times</a> has published.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif"><br /></span>
<span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif">On the mini-album Good Times, there is the track titled In Cold Blood. The duo Kings in White (Piotr "Kromproom" Krompiewski and Tomek Grochola from Agressiva 69) produced an official remix of the track. The vocalist of the band Blitzkrieg really likes the remix, and he has been decided to produce a video. It all has coincided with the preparations for the release of our first official compilation entitled Beatroom 01. We have agreed that the Blitzkrieg band and the Kings in White duo are promoting the forthcoming compilation. We are going to write more details in the next article and now invite you to listen to the original composition In Cold Blood at the live version playing on the <a href="https://soundedit.pl/en/about-festival/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Soundedit Festival</a> in 2019.</span></span><br />

<span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif">HAPPY NEW YEAR 2020! Now its time to the musical summation of the past year 2019. In this article, we are doing it quite unusual starting from the end going to the beginning of the past year. At the end of 2019, we launched our label's account on the <a href="https://kromproomrecords.bandcamp.com/" rel="" target="_blank">Bandcamp</a> platform where you can listen and buy all our releases in wave format. There are releases of all our artists such as Agressiva 69, Centurio, EKS-port, Kings in White and Kromproom.</span><br />
<span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif"><br /></span>
<span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif">Next, we digitally resurrected the Agressiva 69's album titled Ummmet with remixes, which were released as a separate edition. The album Ummmet premiered and was self-released on CD by A69 in 2012. It is a very different musical face of the band, more electronic and conceptual projects. On the remixed album, there are tracks of such artists as Bogusław Salnikow, Kings in White, Adrian Anioł, and Eric Zimmer, Neural Rust. The track Ummmet (Kings In White Remix) was selected by Carlos Perón (ex Yello) and released on the compilation entitled <a href="https://song.link/i/1490502499" rel="" target="_blank">Der EISENBERG SAMPLER Vol. 9</a> by the SUB CULTURE Records label from Norway. If you want to get more information about the Ummmet and Ummmet remixes album, take a look at our two articles <a href="https://kromproomrecords.blogspot.com/search?q=ummmet" rel="" target="_blank">HERE</a>.</span></span><br />

<span style="font-family: arial;">On the 20th of November in 2019, two Agressiva 69's issues were released to stream and download worldwide. The review of the original Ummmet album was published in the <a href="https://kromproomrecords.blogspot.com/2019/11/agressiva-69s-album-ummmet.html" rel="" target="_blank">previous article</a>. We are going to focus on the second digital release entitled Ummmet Remixes.</span><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: arial;">The album Ummmet is a piece of good, but musically different work done by the band Agressiva 69 in the years 2010-2012. The KROMP ROOM RECORDS label could not pass next to this musical journey indifferently, so together with the vocalist and co-founder of A69 Tomek Grochola they decided to resurrect the album, releasing it to stream and download worldwide. In addition to the aforementioned release, there are four remixes to support and promote the original album. And here let's focus on the mentioned remixes playing nearly 50 minutes, creating the second four-track album Ummmet Remixes, to which you can successfully glue the alternative title Ummmet "B-Side".</span></div>
<br />
<iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="363" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/RXd-_cIbtcU" width="640"></iframe><br />
<span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;">In 2012, at the time when the Ummmet album premiered, Bogusław Salnikow produced his remix. His short, but really effective and intense mix with loud-sounding Ummmet samples mixed with classical instruments creates a truly unique composition. You can hear piano and string instruments such as double bass. Bogusław takes us on a nearly 3-minute ride without a handle, serving a musical dish cooked with electro-industrial precision, seasoned with classic and slightly fragrant dubstep. This remix was not on the originally released CD, but it has now officially appeared on the Ummmet Remixes digital album and is opening this release.</span><br />
<br />
<iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="363" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/ZdqbiL1qRrs" width="640"></iframe><br />
<span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif">The next remix is a nearly 10-minute trance-techno-rock-breakbeat track produced by the Kings in White duo. The duo formed Tomek Grochola (Agressiva 69) and Piotr Krompiewski (Kromproom). They are serving the listeners an incredibly danceable composition, mixing sounds from Ummmet with a programmed very mechanically sounding beat. The whole music is playing like a speeding machine, which at some point works at such a speed that it reaches its limits. The duo does not hide that producing remixes is for them to work on the sound that they will definitely want to use on their debut album. Stay tuned!</span><br /></span>
<br />
<iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="363" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/AIBYDCgcu4s" width="640"></iframe><br />
<span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;">The third track is an incredibly mixed long-playing ambient made of heavily deformed sounds from Ummmet. The authors of this over 28-minute production are Adrian Anioł and Eric Zimmer. Original sounds passed through a mass of effects, mixed in the created space, create an amazing atmosphere reminiscent of the early achievements of such a formation as FSOL (The Future Sound Of London). It remains for us to sit in a comfortable chair, put on headphones, press PLAY, and fly somewhere into the unknown. The mix of both artists was made during the release of the Ummmet album and just like in the case of the Bogusław Salnikow mix, it appears officially on the Ummmet Remixes digital release.</span><br />
<br />
<iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="363" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/fU8rL5FPHUM" width="640"></iframe><br />
<span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif">The last track is a 7-minute mix produced by Neural Rust. Deep bass with spatially playing sounds from Ummmet takes us to Detroit, to the place where dub techno was born. This minimalist approach to the mix finally gives us literally musical magma, which is listened to perfectly. Neural Rust and artist Tom Dagone are the founders of Sensitive Kemistry, which releases music in this style. The remix goes well at the end of the musical journey with the album Ummmet Remixes and shows that in Poland you can create really valuable and very good techno.</span><br />
<span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif"><br /></span>
<span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif">Ummmet Remixes is a mix of underground intelligent electronics, sophisticated sound, and creativity of the artists who took part in this project. Tomek Grochola at one point wanted to name this release Ummmet 2, but this name is reserved for the second continuation of this very different view on music, which Agressiva 69 proudly and boldly admits.</span></span><div><br /></div><div><iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="1" height="600px" marginheight="0px" marginwidth="0px" name="myiFrame" scrolling="no" src="https://www.artistcamp.com/SmartLinks/9008798311859/" style="border: 0px #ffffff none;" width="800px"></iframe><br /><div><span style="font-family: arial;">Music distribution by Rebeat Digital GmbH</span></div><div><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div></div>Kromproomhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15227962973692929544noreply@blogger.com0Evropa54.5259614 15.255118700000025-13.773431099999996 -149.97925629999997 90 -179.51050629999997tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2135890044969294381.post-90211511293847448342019-11-09T09:42:00.003+01:002021-06-03T13:44:04.133+02:00Agressiva 69's album Ummmet<span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif">We are the official label of Agressiva 69's digital releases of the album Ummmet and Ummmet remixes. The musical experiment was released as a CD in 2012. The composition had been used earlier for the art exhibition titled “Miejsce Naznaczone”, which took place in Cracow in 2010 and in Nuremberg in 2011. We are giving you information about the album on the basis of the </span><a href="http://tegoslucham.pl/index.php?s=blog&id=249" rel="" target="_blank">article</a><span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif"> that has been published in the portal </span><a href="http://tegoslucham.pl/" rel="" target="_blank">TEGOSLUCHAM.PL</a> <span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif">on the 12 of February in 2012.</span><br />
<br />
</span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: arial;">In 2011, after releasing the album entitled “Republika 69” Agressiva was accused of opportunism. Then in 2012 was released the next album of the band, which effectively silence these voices, because the album “Ummmet” is an audio-visual challenge for the most demanding recipients of art.</span></div>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif"><br /></span>
<span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif">The cover CD of the album does not contain any information...</span></span><br />

<span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<span style="font-family: arial;">The cover idea of the album was a risky venture. For example, the Factory label, that released such artists as Joy Division and New Order it famous for the fact, that on their releases were difficult to find out any information about bands - compared to „Ummmet”, Factory releases contain a lot of information. Next to the Ummmet cold-concrete cover (some of the releases had real cement packaging!), it has absolutely no information. Were it not for the fact that we received a copy from Tomek Grochola (co-founder and vocalist of Agressiva 69), we would not have a clue what release we are dealing with, where an artist name is or although the date of issue of the album. Fortunately, you could learn more from the band's media coverage. “Ummmet” is the first part of the planned triptych with electronic music. It is a different way of composing music than the other releases of Agressiva 69. It is a separate currency in the band's work constituting a stepping stone from what the band does every day.</span></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<span style="font-family: arial;">„Ummmet“ is illustrative and instrumental music - there are no premiere songs. The album is filled with a 40-minute ambient-trance electronic music. There are looped human noises, sounds of nature, and mechanical sounds. Sometimes you can hear crafted guitars, and also electronic rave-style techno-beat. The great production allows you to hear the elements of this puzzle exactly, although you need to listen repeatedly to extract all the ingredients and fully enjoy the music. But despite all the wealth, the music strongly refers to minimalism in form. The composition is made of individual sounds, delicate colours, and spots, which like a painted by hand holding a brush slowly create a single image. The rhythmic layer is treated similarly. The aforementioned strong, automatic beat appears for a long time twice, but the rhythmically pulsating pulse is felt from the beginning, created by treating not percussive sounds and sounds in a trance way. The association of this music with painting and images is not so far from the truth. It is best to listen to the album and let your imagination free and see these musical landscapes yourself. Because of the magic of music, we can do it with our eyes closed, preferably with headphones on. Disappointed listeners can only be those who expect ”Ummmet“ frightening, scratching, and grinding sounds straight from a cyber-industrial hell. This music is rather closer to atmospheric ambient minimal techno, although due to the disturbing main theme throughout the duration, it can not be included in the chill-out that will put us in a relaxing mood. The ominous atmosphere of the post-industrial era is present on the album.</span></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<span style="font-family: arial;">When we open our eyes we can still see two visual faces of this album in the form of mp4 files. The first is a 4-minute clip to a fragment of the suite “Mantra” by Piotr Korzeniowski. The second file is over 16 minutes of the video presentation of works from the international exhibition of artists associated with the Art 2 Bridge group titled “Miejsce Naznaczone”. It took place in May 2010 in the Cracow gallery. The multitude of works and techniques impressed with its momentum. We got acquainted with painting, sculpture, installations, photography, graffiti, or works combining all these techniques. Nearly 30 Polish and foreign artists presented their work. There is no place here to list them all, and as an absolute layman in this topic of art, we do not want to highlight or omit any of them. We will just say that some of the works that we saw made a really thundering impression on us and it is definitely worth reading them. The image is of course accompanied by a fragment of the “Ummmet” music, perfectly complementing the mood of the exhibition.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: arial;">"Ummmet" is an interesting, ambitious experiment and a big challenge that will not find a wide audience. We think, however, that it is worth recommending it to everyone who is ready to take on this challenge and face this non-commercial and artistic proposal. For us and fans of Agressiva 69, it is also interesting, that next to the album is going to be out some great remixes. We are going to write a separate article and review the Ummmet remixes. Stay tuned!</span></div>

<span style="font-family: arial;"><span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif">Agressiva 69 Polish band, one of the first representatives of industrial rock, founded in 1989 in Kraków. This year, after the fall of the Berlin Wall, artists in Poland also wanted to share their music in Western Europe. The hopes of young artists </span><span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif">were very large </span><span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif">after the collapse of the communist system, our diverse music scene, which formed and operated under pressure, will come out next to those famous artists around the world.
