It Has Started Again - a track from the KROMP ROOM RECORDS catalogue surfaces on NOH Radio in Istanbul

Some tracks continue their journey long after their original release.

While reviewing the YouTube Extras data made available by our distributor, we came across It Has Started Again, a track by Kromproom originally released in 2012. The track was featured in a DJ set broadcast by NOH Radio in Istanbul, Turkey, in 2022.

Running for more than two hours, the set brought together a selection of music in which It Has Started Again found its place. The broadcast itself took place four years ago, but we only discovered this connection in 2026.

For an independent label, moments like this offer a glimpse into the life of a release beyond its initial publication. Once music leaves the studio and enters the world, it can travel through different scenes, broadcasts and listening environments, sometimes without the label knowing about it at the time.

At KROMP ROOM RECORDS, we find it interesting to come across these traces of our catalogue years later. There is no need to turn such discoveries into grand claims. It's simply good to know that a track released in 2012 became part of a radio set in Istanbul ten years after its original release.
